Last year I add 3 new 110 outlets in our laundry room using the 500 molding. I found it easy to install after watching several installments videos………

Great video... which has mostly convinced me to go with plastic that opens more easily since I'm just hiding cat6 and speakers.

Excellent video. I use Wire mold a lot. Actually, adding another outlet today to existing wire mold Your right about the small screws that hold on the box. Haven't really seen the round wire mold at my local Lowes outlet. Good idea about the drywall screws. I will use drywall screws today. Another thing the 2-hole strap there is a small Nitch on the inside that will snap in place on the wire mold channel.

All of you who don't like the look of emt you can always paint it and the fastners or make your own wood trim to hide it. And they do make compression couplings instead of grub screw type that do look ugly even when painted lol

And also great video on wire mold basics

Great video, thank you for doing it. Way better than the videos from the manufacturer! Clearly, you've worked with the product, and have tips that are a bit "off book" but incredibly helpful.

Just bought a home with numerous light fixtures that are just plugged into an outlet. Hoping to use wire mold to clean things up.

No need for bushings in each end of the wire mold? I just had to reroute some wiring in a room. After talking to my nephew electrician, he advised me to use the bushing that came in the kit.

Hey sir. Thanks for the video. Im using this metal raceway. How do you go about grounding this conduit? Just the same as any metal conduit? If the tubing is snug I can just ground at the outlet and switch boxes?

i was looking for a segment on how to fish the wire through

Good detail! I prefer the plastic to the metal. Plus, I think it looks more modern. The metal mold reminds me of my 11th grade physics class. LOL

I'm a little curious about the end of the Romex feeding the receptacle on the board being "stabbed" into the female end of the green drop cord. Wouldn't it be much safer to install a cord cap on the end of the 12/2? Just

question for everyone. there were some other electricians and DIYers that say you should not run romex through conduit. is that accurate?

very informative thank you. could you cut it with an angle grinder instead of a hacksaw?

Hey Guy, how do i go about removing the metal raceway?

I got to say right out the door I hate wire mold and plug mold. I have spent days tracing down wires where somebody else put up the wire mold or plug mold and the thing don't work because they pinch the wire.
