Sanyo Taho Review

The Taho is a new rugged device for Sprint. It meets military standards and is water, dust, shock, and wind resistant. Not only that, but it also sports a 2 megapixel camera with a flash. In testing, it wasn't as durable as other rugged phones we've tested, but it held up well enough.

In this video, Sydney does a full review of the Taho. It is available from Sprint for $99.99 on contract and after rebates.

@fudgemanize Probably refers to wind resistance when it pertains to wind kicking up dust and particles. This phone is dust resistance so no dust behine the screen or in speaker like some phones.

I got this phone Friday...still at full bars. Battery life is actually great...just wish the vid camera was a bit better. Plus you can't use any message alerts other than whats already on phone. I like my willy wonka whistle for texts.

Have a landscapn co. Got 3 for emplyees and they luv how tuff it is, great pics, vids, easy use and fast web. Only cmplant cant watch sum movies etc limitd video playr. Tryd dwnld adobe n couldnt? Other that pretty good. Not a flashy droid tch screen but great 4 work

@fudgemanize It refers to how well audio can be heard/sent when in windy conditions. I dont know if you have ever experienced it, but when talking on the phone outdoors (cause people do still talk instead of just this texting bullshit) if there is a strong gust of wind it makes it difficult to hear the conversation (from both sides)

@PUboiler29 Dude your completely right! This Wannabe researcher is critiquing the phone and sounding disappointed with so many things about it. Honestly! the phone survives water and pretty much every single realistic fall that is would encounter. She seems to want it to live up to some standard that no existing phone has. It is a huge leap from where phones were just 6 years ago mine wasnt even in color, had a pull out antenna, and no camera. I am completely satisfied with my Sprint Sanyo Taho!
