Flat wound strings VS La Bella Nylon Tape wound strings

I turned off tone nob during play Nylon Tape wound strings because of noise issue. I hope to still this video useful.

Noise is from the tape, same on mine. It's because you aren't touching the bare metal of the string, so you aren't grounded. Touch the bridge and it goes away. If it matters, you can get an ESD wrist strap and clip/solder its wire onto your bass's ground (the bridge, from inside the body). Then wear the strap on your ankle.

Am I mistaken or do the La Bellas have more Attack in bass and mid? Sounds so godly thumpy

Great playing. How is the tension of the Tapes compared to the flats. I read they are very loose ( low tension )
