I bought LaBellas mistakenly thinking this was what they were going to sound like. Boy was I wrong. Not only were they completely different from what I read about them online (I know, I know), they also came dead in the pack. Quickly cut them off and put these on instead.

I purchased an EBMM Tim Commerford passive short scale Stingray (#23 of 50). I also purchased a set of short scale cobalt flats that I'd like to install on it, but I'm not sure if they're suitable. The bridge supports only thru-body stringing, about which I have two concerns: 1) can the cobalt flats tolerate the increased break angle and 2) if so, are they long enough? I have the La Bella short scale flats designed for thru-body Mustangs installed on one of my other shorties and use them for my 'ray, and I can use the cobalts on another shorty with a top-mount bridge, but would really like to try them the my Stingray. Help please! Thanks in advance. NOTE: I sent an email to customer support and received a useless formulaic response, so I'm trying here.
