What do you do when Directory Browsing is enabled, the user which the site runs as has permissions to read the contents of the directory, but you still get a 403 error (even when you can directory access files in that same directory using the path + filename).

Is it possible to enable this for a virtual directory when the credentials you use to connect to said virtual directory does not have write permissions to the path? IIS wanted to create web.config in the UNC path to the virtual directory but the domain user I use for IIS has no rights to that path and I do not wish to change that.
