Kronos

Показать описание
Kronos (Cronus), is a Titan and the leader of the Titans in Greek mythology. He is known for overthrowing his father Uranus and ruling during the Golden Age. To prevent a prophecy that he would be overthrown by one of his children, Kronos swallowed each of his offspring until Zeus was hidden away by Rhea. Zeus later forced Kronos to regurgitate his siblings and led a rebellion against him, resulting in Kronos's defeat and imprisonment in Tartarus
Chronos, on the other hand, is the personification of time in pre-Socratic philosophy. His name (Χρόνος) literally means "time" in Greek. Chronos is often depicted as an old man with a long beard, symbolizing the passage of time. In some interpretations, particularly during the Renaissance, Chronos was conflated with Kronos due to their similar names and associations with time, leading to confusion between the two figures
In summary, while both names are related to concepts of time, Kronos refers to the Titan associated with harvest and the cyclical nature of life, whereas Chronos specifically represents time itself as a concept. The blending of their identities has occurred throughout history but they remain distinct figures in mythology.

lyric:
In shadows deep, where legends dwell,
A Titan’s tale, we weave and tell.
Kronos, king of time and fate,
In harvest's grace, he rules the state.
Born of Gaia, Uranus’ might,
The youngest Titan, he claimed the night.
With sickle sharp, he struck the sky,
Overthrew his father, let the old gods die.
Golden Age dawned with peace so bright,
Yet fear of loss turned joy to fright.
Devouring kin in dread’s embrace,
His children lost without a trace.
But Rhea’s heart held Zeus so dear,
A spark of hope amidst the fear.
Kronos! Titan of the harvests,
In your hands, the future lies.
From golden fields to shadows cast,
The wheel of time spins ever fast.
With every bite, his power waned,
A prophecy that fate ordained.
Zeus arose with thunder’s roar,
To claim the throne forevermore.
The Titans fell in fierce despair,
As lightning cracked the heavy air.
In battles fought with strength and might,
The dawn emerged from endless night.
Kronos bound in Tartarus deep,
His reign now lost.
Kronos! Titan of the harvests,
In your hands, the future lies.
From golden fields to shadows cast,
The wheel of time spins ever fast.
Yet in the depths where shadows creep,
A story waits for us to keep.
For Kronos lives in whispers soft,
In every heart where dreams take off.
Elysium calls with gentle grace,
Where time and fate find their place.
In cycles turning, life’s refrain,
From every loss, there’s much to gain.
The past may fade but never dies,
In every end, a new sunrise.
Kronos! Titan of the harvests,
In your hands, the future lies.
From golden fields to shadows cast,
The wheel of time spins ever fast.
So raise your voice and sing his name,
In every heart ignites the flame.
From golden fields to shadows cast,
The wheel of time spins ever fast.
So raise your voice and sing his name,
In every heart ignites the flame.
For Kronos reigns in tales we weave,
A timeless truth we all believe.
So let us honor what was lost,
For every gain comes at a cost.
