In this video, I talk about why I prefer using Full frame cameras over Crop sensor ones. I also do a photoshoot showing how you can use both to create a nearly identical image

Do you agree or disagree? At the end of the day, everyone has a different style of shooting and editing.

Bro i'm not interested in photography at all but I watch all your videos lol. The formula is flawless!

I always thought full frame was the holy grail... I’ve owned FF Nikon and Sony. However my new XT3 is making me second guess everything I thought I knew. I think the glass makes the most difference.

This woman's hair is amazing. And she knows it. Look at all that sass at the beginning of the video. lol Love it!

I could tell every time which one was full frame, but it's easy when you see them side by side and know what to look for. However, without them being side by side, it's impossible to tell.

I totally agree, I shot a crop sensor camera for 6 years and just recently upgraded to full frame. The biggest difference is how far I can zoom in on my images without pixelation.

I was shocked about the VOICE of that model :)

Background compression is what gives it away (and does for these shots easily), but it does really need to be one after the other in a comparison to notice it. No point of comparison and you'll probably never know unless you're told or something just doesn't look like it shows enough for how much distance there seems to be between things from front to back in the frame. And *THANK YOU* for pointing out that the depth of field change happens because of *moving to replicate the frame* and not just by default.

Manny, I am disappointed that you wore your dual leather straps for your cameras, but you didn't put in any gun shots sounds effects. You slip'n homie. :P lol

Your explanation at 6:13 is gold. One of the reasons I’m considering switching to full frame. I’ve been a Fuji dude for a few years. I always thought I could just get a certain field of view by just changing the focal length. but then distortion becomes a factor. Something I didn’t consider for wide shots. Great video.

I remember the reasons I switched:
-ISO - Probably the biggest reason for me. The extra stop or two made all the difference.
-Dynamic range
-FoV

Coming from an a6000 + 35mm F1.8 and 12mm F2.0. Joining a RX100M4. But sold both and got the A7II with 25mm F2.0 Zeiss Batis and 85mm F1.8 Zeiss Batis. Never regret the step on full frame.

Yessir! This kind of videos where you compare equivalent focal lengths in different sensor sizes is WHAT I WANTED! Thanks manny!

I completely agree with your summary. APS-C is just as capable as FF in most cases, but FF gives you a lot of flexibility with light. On the color thing, isn't that mostly just that the newer Sony cameras have different color rendering than the old cameras (and the newest APS-C uses the old colors)?

Why I prefer CROP FRAME over full frame cameras?
- I like my kidney where it is :)

It's crazy how small the differences are but somehow I always gravitated towards the full frame and could pick it out right away!

I finally picked up the A7iii and I hear you, the dynamic range is freaking insane! Coming from a crop sensor to full frame has been mind blowing, granted I had an older crop sensor body. Pulling details out of shadows is incredible, although with some slight noise in the shadows. I found a neat work around if you do bracket exposures even with portraits, and composite your images in Photoshop if your subject can keep relatively still, it brings out crisp and clean shadows. I really suggest you give it a try Manny! Even if just for fun you may be surprised.
