There's a very small town in South Dakota called Swett. It's so small, its population is 1! The one man who lives there has decided to sell it. So if you’re in the market for a town, give him a call. When we saw the news story about the town, we thought it would be fun to write a song about it. It's called "One Man Town." Hope you like it! Please feel free to share with your friends.
Lyrics:
When I came here
Years ago
This town was doing well
The bar was packed
We were having fun
Business was going swell
But they've all
Up and left
And moved away
Now it's just me
And it's time
For me to say

Chorus
I'm the mayor
I run a one man town
I'm the preacher
I pray with no one around
(The) bartender
My tip jar don't make a sound
How can I live
In a one man town
It started out
A real nice break
I had my privacy
But then it got
drab and dull
Cause it was only me
Watching grass grow
Talking to myself
Can only work so long
Get me out
(of) This boring town
It's not where I belong

Chorus

Bridge
Three bedroom house for sale
And three trailers too
One run down bar
And a town just for you

Chorus

How can I live
In a one man town
