NATO lost its reason for existence with the fall of the Soviet Union. Kept around by the US as a "fig leaf" for NATO expansion and aggression outside of Europe - fueled by the hubris resulting from the one-sided victory over Sadam Hussien's Iraqi army.

On the supposed Soviet threat after WW2 that “necessitated” the creation of NATO, you might want to talk to people like Jeffrey Sachs about the background. Because the Soviets suggested turning Germany into a unified neutral country on the same format as Austria, but the US refused and rearmed West Germany.

I noticed something VERY ODD. In the original video the citizens took of the shooter crawling on the roof he was wearing pants. In the new video from the officers camera on the roof he is wearing shorts. What is going on here?
