I massively appreciate what went and goes into Fiona and the other hippos' care. I've recently read about ppl in Africa adopting a baby hippo after it was orphaned... Not much thought was put into his needs, or how to keep everybody else safe suffice to say. I know y'all get credit for the round the clock care saving her lil life and that's enormous. But I have new appreciation for the training done to keep Fiona and everybody safe.

Thank you Zoo Staff..You are all so awesome. If I could redo my life all over I would love to get a job at the Zoo. I live near the L.A. Zoo but i am originally from Ohio. I have loved animals all my life and I mean all kinds of animal but I have fallen love with baby hippo Fiona ...she just holds a special place in my heart and it could be because she was born premature ..but i also like the adult hippos too. And hippo faces always look like they are smiling too. Thank again !
