Carrie Fisher was so iconic, even beyond _Star Wars._ I had no idea she had parents in Hollywood, let alone one of my favorite Golden Age actresses. The fact that they died only a few days apart is just tragic.

And John Ritter (Three's Company, Slingblade) and his dad Tex Ritter, who appeared in westerns in the 1930s & 40s.

I think the Hollywood Nepo Babies thing is overblown. It happens in every industry. People with lawyers for parents often become lawyers, etc. Everyone pays attention because actors gain fame and are in the spotlight. Most of those on this list are very talented. Their parents may have gotten them through the door, but they have to be good enough to draw an audience on their own.

I must be a lot older than your base. I knew them all by sight except Diana Ross and her daughter. To be fair, I had just heard about their connection a little while ago, but I don't know if it counts because I didn't recognize them. Although, the mother looked very familiar! You do pick some very interesting topics from which I have learned many times.😀😀

You forgot WALL-E from the Disney cartoon. 3rd gen star. His grandfather was the Tin Man from 1939's Wizard of Oz and his dad was Herbie The Love Bug from 1970s Disney movies.

Elizabeth Montgomery, her dad played the character Phillip Marlowe in "Lady In The Lake" in 1940s and the lead in "Here Comes Mr. Jordan", the movie "Heaven Can Wait" was based on.


Though, if you watch/like anthology series from the 1950s/1960s- a lot of current big actor's parents were characters.
