Got this as a standalone during a steam sale for like 4 bucks and I love it! The story is short but the protagonist is badass, adventuring on the high seas is fun as hell, the weapons are awesome, the combat is extremely fluid and rescuing virtual slaves makes me feel like a good person.

this is great for new people who don't have Assassin's creed IV(or any AC title), but want to try an AC game for the first time.

Pretty cool for anyone that didn't already play the DLC version. It's pretty good and I'd recommend it to anyone thinking of getting it.

I think it'd be fun if we went back to the crusades with this franchise, except we play as real people, such as the hashashin founder, Hassan-i Sabbah. We'll get into the bad parts about the real order, like how Sabbah drugged his people with hash (hence the name, and it's a manufactured form of pot) then took them to his palace with all the women. He told them this was paradise and so all the assassin's listened to him. Even though this next part didn't happen, we'll make a character change in Sabbah when the Knights of the Temple of Solomon (Templars) arise and he realizes the mess he made. Then, we will delve into how assassinations were shifted in the order from political officials to templars, and have him make a creed. Just a few tips: Every sequence has to be longer than 6 missions. There has to be at least 12 sequences. The optional objectives are really annoying sometimes. If this messes up the first civ thing, then PLEASE make a full game about a current day assassin. Like Shaun or Rebecca against abstergo, and how things changed when desmond died.

I remember watching django unchained and thinking that ubisoft would be fine if only they thought of that first, to the same storyline. I think that would make an ac which would top the ezio games

Ubisoft should remake old ac games like ac1, ac2, acbh, acr, and ac3 for the next gen. it would be awesome to replay these games on next gen with in proved graphics....

I don't really see the point of having this a stand alone downloadable game when it can just be an addon for ACIV: Black Flag.

AC5 should be set in old Korea. That would be fun and different to play.

I think the next Ac game will probably explore the Industrious Revolution that was between 1600-1800. Also i think they might focus on bringing Isaac Newton into that equation as he was born in 1642 and dies on 1727. That we have a good time period of 1660-1690. This is just a theory but it does seem like a good setting where the templars and assassins race against each other in technical advances.

I sincerely hope this doesn't cost as much as the revised Liberation. With that, I got a whole game for £12. Freedom Cry is 9 missions.
