Finding the correct putter loft is one of the most important aspects of making more putts. With so many different putter styles out there it is important to get fit and dial in your putter specs.

I think armlock or other rigid-style putting strokes probably have more of a relationship between address and impact loft. Forward press at address doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll deliver it with negative attack angle at impact. Most forward press or feel putters are a bit more traditional with looser hands and a sense of flow that lets the putter head catch up in the downswing through past impact. The latter seems to be becoming a dying breed amongst recreational golfers.

That said, always good to get your measurements and optimize regardless of style.
