this is the problem. Everybody is blaming each other. Nobody is telling the real picture. The responsibility of any civic infrastructure within the city is with the DMC. Drains sewers pipelines is DMC responsibility. But do local municipal corporations do any work. they simply do not have the authority or the intent. When the DMC elections were held somebody said 80% of local body expenditure is on salary and administrative work.
And the responsibility of city planning and maintaining the city infrastructure is with Central. Delhi is capital city. The state government cannot do anything without the Centre's permission. At least AAP leaders are one ground.
But this yet again shows the apathy of our leaders law makers towards public services. Anything public is so badly managed be it AAP. Be it BJP. Be it INC. From schools to hospitals to transport to anything. Reporters with cameras reached all water logged areas. They are covering it 24/7.
