tools or parts.

LEVEL 1: THE BASIC ENDURO TOOL KIT

The stock tool kit (or toolkit) is a bare minimum of course. These vids provide an introduction on how to ride dirt bikes with our 70 free training vids. Many of these riding tips come from Graham Jarvis, Chris Birch and other top extreme enduro riders to form the concept of cross training - a blend of trials and enduro techniques. So at the very least you will want to add the following to your stock tool kit.

LEVEL 2: WELL PREPARED DIRT BIKE TOOL KIT
Spare fuses, Basic first aid kit, Chain repairs. The rise of extreme enduro, endurocross and hard enduro events has led to cross training - trials skills applied to dirt riding on enduro bikes. FURTHER SUGGESTIONS FROM VIEWERS!
Valve remover if using tubes (or use air caps that have one built in)
Small hand saw
Water filter (in addition to the water purifier tablets mentioned)
Flashlight (if your cell phone doesn't have one)
Air pump
Vice grips (can replace broken clutch/gear levers, clamp a busted brake line on dual front brakes)
Super glue (fix radiator holes, even glue lacerated skin together)

In the case of having to bail and walk out, a small bottle of deet/"deep woods off" for the blackflies, mozies, and ticks for the walk out. Cheers from merica. I lived in Latrobe Valley, Victoria for 2 years. You have a great country for riding.

A whole vid on towing would be really interesting. I've only seen it done on telly and it would be nice to know how.

valve puller, blade connectors, shrink tube. I dumped my DR on a sandy track in the centre of AUS once and some electrical bits and bobs were required to bypass the kill switch.

I was out riding the other day with a buddy when I fouled the plug on my yz250. Had a spare sitting in my garage that was supposed to be in my backpack... Luckily I was close enough to home that my buddy went and got it for me! Lesson learned...

Some great tips there for newer and even more experienced spongers who rely on you for tools. I pride myself on having the basics for our enduro rides and a very solid kit for adventure riding.

Good video. Add a folding pack saw. I had one a few years back with me when we had an impromptu overnight camping trip. It made a world of difference getting through some tight bush and, inevitability when we had to give up, making a fire for the night.

I have a Sawyer Mini water filter. Supposedly you can drink sewer water with it if need be. It is ultra compact. Other useful products are Epoxy putty and rubber repair tape..

Yeeee, I'm in video! Did you had any need for spokes wrench on your rides? What to do in case of broken spoke?

Euro bikes: T-Bar with 8/10/13mm sockets, zip ties, multi-tool. Can rebuild the bike in the middle of nowhere
Jap bikes: Fit a hitch and tow a Snap-on trailer in case you need to adjust a lever position

Good advice! I was out yesterday with minimum tools and my speedo cable got snagged on a knobby, tire the sheath and linked the cable under the fender. The Gorilla tape made for a quick trail fix.

There is self sealing tape, which comes in handy if a radiator hose is leaking. Highly recommend this.

Adding to your extra gear lever, we usually carry a few spare/old brake or clutch levers too. Great vids. Keep up the good work.

The best toolkit item to carry is a credit card. It's light, packs incredibly small, and there are few problems that can't be solved with a liberal application of it.
