Wow, things are so much easier with the proper tool. I used my teeth, but that’s scary and only works for about 50% of them. I later move to using a hammer. I didn’t think a butter knife would work given how strong the shells are. I would’ve thought the claw would fly out of my hand before the shell gives.

Chopsticks also are an excellent tool for Crab, Lobster and Crayfish meat extraction!
