ADF | UH-60M Black Hawk commence flying operations

The first three of a planned fleet of 40 UH-60M Black Hawks have commenced flying operations.
The Black Hawks will operate from Holsworthy in Western Sydney and Oakey in South East Queensland. Black Hawks provide Army with the modern, credible and sustainable Aviation capability it needs to meet the contemporary challenges of warfare. The next tranche of Black Hawk helicopters is expected early 2024.

Was just on a type rating course in the US with a current USCBP and Ex 82nd Airborne pilot, still flying Blackhawks, talking about how great a machine they are ! We should have never moved away from them . He also mentioned they would regularly have ADF pilots on deployment when he was flying with the 82nd & learnt the Australian deceleration manoeuvre which they used to great success in Iraq and Afghanistan . I remember being in army & going for a ride with the Americans in their Blackhawk’s in 1995 in Darwin.❤️

Where is the Cam paint job ? Surely after all the money dumped on previous choppers we can at least get some rattle cans out

I think ADF could be making some long range helicopter, these helicopter are only good for reverse engineering
