I have recently just purchased the anc version of these earbuds after watching and they have really good bass for earbuds, although I do notice the feeling of pressure in the ears, and its very similar to large earplugs. If you sleep with any kind of earplugs it shouldn't be an issue for you but if you have sensitive ears it might be tough. Thanks for a great review a lot of your points are really solid and I i noticed them too.

I disagree with the “having to take out and give my ears a break” I wear these all day at work, charge when I get home, then sleep with 1 in all night long and they don’t bother my ears at all.

I have the Skullcandy Rail. I do in fact agree with the pressure but I think that's mostly due to the fact of them for a noise isolating fit. Although for me personally, the pressure didn't cause too much of a problem for me

I had the ANC's first last year . They were good, but I noticed my phone disabled the noise canceling during calls. Then after about 3 months, my right bud started crackling so I sent them back to Skullcandy and their customer service was amazing. Since my phone disabled noise canceling during calls, I opted for the plain rails for my replacement. I got them and I couldn't be happier. I did make one small change though, I got some different ear cups from Amazon and since switching them out from the factory Skullcandy ones, they stay in my ear perfectly and don't feel any pressure.

I got them a week ago. My Sony WF-1000XM4 got broken. They are perfect less the ANC. They are lasting more than Sony, they are easy to wear and light, they sound louder but the quality is better to Sony. Sony costed me 2, 5x the price of Skullcandy so I guess is a very good product! The bass is crazy!

I own the Rails and I don't feel any pressure from them Id also like to say after doing the hearing test and messing around in the EQ a little bit (just turned the lows up 3/4 of the way up) I almost prefer the rails over my crusher EVOs

hey I just got the skullcandy rail, an upgrade from my og indy's but Im wondering form anyone who can answer this, why are these things so damn loud? its so brutally loud that it hurts to even listen to the Bluetooth lady telling you the battery percentage. the minimum volume (6 percent) on these things is around 75 percent volume on the original indy's, around 35 percent volume is so loud it is louder than full on music concerts, leaving your ears ringing, and max is so bloody loud that its similar volume to my phones speaker at around 20 percent. I tried multiple devices connected to this, i updated the firmware on the iq app, im sure these arent faulty buds so why is everyone ok with the fact that these things are louder than aipod pros max volume at just 40 percent volume? like these will seriously make you deaf within minutes at max volume, if the speakers dont fry first.
