Good decision. For UG Government Medical colleges in Kerala are best. We have great patient load, and u will be very comfortable during ur clinical postings . Ur communications with the patients will be easier. At the end of ur academics, u will be familiar with most of the Dr in Kerala, and this will help u in ur future practice.

This is just a typical conservative south Indian mindset that north India is unsafe or that 'hindi patients' make life difficult; whether it be north or south, a doctor needs to be ready to deal with the suffering of humanity and not be too selfish with self-love

I believe she has taken a correct decision. Government Medical Colleges in Kerala provide MBBS students a better learning exposure to patients and diseases than AIIMS MBBS students.

Choosing a good college for PG matters a lot more than MBBS.. but AIIMS Delhi is far ahead than GMC Calicut 😊 other peripheral AIIMS are not very good & our govt med colleges are better!
