Easter of 1998, I was four and my parents looked quite pleased with themselves. My sister and I didn’t know why (other than being Easter and with my mother pregnant with my brother) until we went to turn on the tv. Sitting there next to the vcr was a gold Nintendo sixty-four already hooked up to the tv with two controllers and Mario kart plugged into the slot, ready to be turned on and played. I still have BOTH! Damn thing still runs like new and I hope to one day give my future children the same joyful surprise my parents gave me. Thank you DKOldies for making me remember a wonderful feeling and a joyous memory

My oldest sister and her husband got me a Nintendo 64 (Star Wars Episode I Racer Limited Edition Set) on my 11th birthday in 07/1999. It was great. That was my very first console that was mine. They also got me Super Smash Bros that same year for Christmas and I still have the console and games. Good memories.
