I watched this movie and silently greeted 2025. My mom and I liked to watch this movie every year. Who else? Her voice just gets me teary eyed..lol. Happy New Year World from New Mexico!

At 1:04 when she found her mother's arms is the most touching part of this entire movie. As a mother who have now lost my mother I know there is no safer place than the arms of the person who carried you and loved you before you were even born, so in a moment like this she couldn't have found a safer space. ❤

Whenever I’m asked about what Lea song is my favorite, it’s this one. It’s not hers but she owns this song vocally, I mean honestly what she does with it, the control, the breaths, every bit of it makes me smile, cry and then smile some more. There is NONE like Lea, she truly is one in a lifetime. “We’ve wandered many weary foot” gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME, the beautiful way she sings that part with such heart 😩 the woman is just ridiculously talented, not even sure if Lea even realizes the extent of her talent. She’s been blessed by the Lord with that voice, and I’m so glad I got to grow up with her til now and hopefully I get to see her shine as Fanny too ❤

I have heard this song sung New Years Eve almost every year of my 66 years. For some reason, this version hits right at my heart strings and seems to touch them. This version makes me very emotional and teary. I don’t know why but it really talks to me. Thank you Lea for your Fantastic!
