Arc System Works have to be one of the most well-respected developers of fighting games in the genre's community, and it's not hard to see why. Over the years, they've delivered a number of great fighters, from Guilty Gear and BlazBlue to Persona 4 Arena and the recently released Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Their next game, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, sees them returning to a beloved franchise, and they're doing a number of quite intriguing things with it. In this feature, we're going to talk about fifteen vital bits of information that you need to know about it.

Are we really complaining about a $20 DLC pass for all of the 20 DLC characters in BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle? Especially since it's a $50 game?
Injustice 2: $60 plus $40 For all DLC.
Tekken 7: $60 plus $25 for all DLC.
Street Fighter V: $60 season 1 DLC pass for $20, season 2 DLC pass for $30 and Season 3 DLC pass for $30
Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite: $60 plus $30 for all DLC.
Dragon Ball Fighterz: $60 plus $35 for all DLC
BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle: $50 plus $20 for all DLC. Just $10 more than any other game out there. Sure it's a base roster of 20 characters, but that's not bad since the game is $50. Not only that, but you're getting 20 DLC characters for $20. Even buying them all individually for a total of $25 is a steal. That would make each individual DLC character worth $1 minimum and $1.25 maximum!
None of you have the right to complain, especially when there are other fighting games/games in general that do so much worse.
Pay the people that work so hard to make the games you love, damn. The fact that games are still just $60 is surprising.

I'm a veteran of blaz & p4arena/ other fighting games and I understand why veterans are upset about the gameplay machanics but the fact that they made it playable for people that never touched fighting games before is pretty bold and awesome in my opinion. It really is a great way to introduce fighting games to people.

A thing you should know is this game is insanely simplified meaning the combo system heavily relies on auto combos. Doesn't quite mean you can't do manual stuff but you won't have nearly anything to do. The only normal buttons you have access to are A+B. You do however have a C but its not traditional as it is purely an overhead cinematic so you can't quite combo into it, its basically a BlazBlue crush trigger because it has strikingly similar properties such as a pretty slow start up, hell for the BlazBlue characters it is their crush trigger animations. For the other series characters its usually a jumping overhead. with that being said have fun.

Underrated fighter, fun tag gameplay, reminiscent of early MvC days but more anime. Only real complaint is lack of an arcade/abyss mode, but with the Tankgang approaching who knows what else they will bring.

It's not called Dragon ball Fighters Z they said it on Twitter so long ago it's simple replace the S with the Z

I know people are butthurt over the dlc but I for one am HAPPY to support the shit out of this game. I'd want another season of dlc characters in fact xD. Games cost money to make man.
