i use helix native about 99% of the time when I’m recording or messing around and I never had the time to actually read the instructions and thanks for showing us the compatibility mode setting I will be definitely digging into that.

For fun, run the output of your Helix USB Chan 5-6 into your DAW (Helix Native), output to the Helix USB Chan 1-2 to chain both Helix's together at the same time. This should give you plenty of Drives, Amps, Delays. If that's not enough, open a new DAW strip and chain your Helix Native, HX Stomp, and Helix together for Triple Helix Power! USB Channels are reviewed on Page 44 of the HX Stomp Owners manual. I would suspect the USB Channels on all devices are the same. :-)

Not sure if that was an intentional reference to the fenton video, or coincidence. But that shit had me in stitches.

Fenton said "I'm dressed in my best and heading to the pub. Later guys. Don't wait up."

Thank you for this! I had no idea that I can purchase the Helix Native for much less due to being a HX Stomp owner. For others, log into the Helix site and navigate to the Helix Native page to see what deal you qualify for.

I must say, every time I hear you play that Sire Larry Carlton Les Paul, I'm more impressed with the tone! I've never been a Les Paul fan, and would be loathe to give up having a trem bar, but damn that bridge pickup sounds so good!

Great video. I had picked up on the option of an “unlimited” mode, but was under the impression it would be rather demanding on cpu. It would be interesting, and helpful, to hear what setup you are using (desktop or laptop etc.) and what the specs are.

For those bedroom guitarist such as myself, this video raises the question why would I ever purchase a hardware guitar processor like a Helix or HX stomp or POD Go. It seems these hardware guitar processors have significant limitations on number of blocks, etc. while running a software modeling program like Helix Native on a decent PC does not suffer these limitations. Am I missing something?
