I have the Tascam 112 too, it's a nice deck. I have re-capped mine with Nichicon FineGold and Panasonic caps. This has solved some noise issues, particularly in the headphone output. Also I notice in your rack some Sony minidisc decks - MDS-E12 or maybe E10? All excellent decks! Please show us around the rest of your rack!

All of your Tascam gear looks in such immaculate condition :) Like brand new ! 
I started out with an Akai reel to reel SoS then a 244 4-Trk back in the 80's. I do still have a Tascam 103 cassette

Hello. I would like to know what are the connections you have between the patchbay and the tascam 112. How do you use the unbalanced signals with your interface? I am about to buy a tascam 112 as well to record the masters of my projects on cassette. Could you help me with that information? your video is the ONLY one that is well done. the others just turn up the volume and use the camera's audio.

nice track! how would you compare the 112 to the 244? i want to get a cassette deck/recorder mainly to bounce my DAW mixes to get that analog vintage sound
