Guitar Plan 2021 – Mark Z’s Channel Announcements – Happy 2021!
Happy 2021 everyone. A few announcements today. Thank you for 50,000 subs! YouTube videos for 2021. New Member site coming in Jan/Feb.

• I passed 50,000 subs thanks to ALL OF YOU! A special thanks to those who
o Made a point to “LIKE” all of my videos
o Clicked the “Bell” for notifications
o Shared my videos
o Donated to the channel

• New videos for the upcoming year
o 2 per week – One teaching plus one live stream or a 2nd video.
o Keeping the new videos more focused.

• Launching a member site sometime in January/February. The focus will be on Guitar from 1965 to 1985. Still be doing what I do on YouTube, but I’ll get more in-depth on the overall system I use for improvement, which includes
o Seeing the fretboard / improvising
o Techniques like alternate picking
o Getting good tone
o Theory (practical)
o Lots of repertoire building
o Videos, tabs, diagrams, backing tracks and office hours too!

An acquaintance of mine who is having some health problems recently picked up guitar for the first time at 65 years old.
He’s a Jethro Tull fanatic.
It’s been an inspiration for him and nice to see later in life and in very ill health the guitar can add to life’s fulfillment.
He looks excited like a kid again, his name is Kenny and I’ll introduce him to you.
