Merci pour cette très belle interprétation du Carillon. Le rendu des échantillons de Notre Dame de Metz sont troublants de ressemblance avec un Cavaillé-Coll authentique. Jouer celà at home tient du miracle.

I am so sorry to have missed your question when you posted it. The Metz Cavaille-Coll sample set has one of the best 32' Bombardes available for Hauptwerk and you can hear it on the last page of the piece. Thanks for your interest.

@Colin12120 Hi Colin, Thanks for your kind remarks. It is wonderful to be able to play (and record) at home, hearing these extraordinary sounds on a daily basis. Yes, I am using Classic Midi Works keyboards, pedalboard and swell shoes and enjoying them.

Holy Cow, Randall. !! Where have you been all my life? I've listened to a number of your post and each one is beyond wonderful. What a joy it must be to have such an instrument at hand. Blessings all over you world. CVD

@mikedc2020 Hi Mike, Actually it is a keyboard enclosure. In other words, it raps around the sides and the top of the keyboards without actually touching the keyboards. To answer your question, the craftman is Jim Conwell of Creative Woodwork in Biddeford, Maine and his telephone number is 207-284-3131.

I really like how you have your "toe studs" set up...seems to work really well!

Dear Mr Mullin, the part played with right hand at begining, and all its following variations has a line drawn on top of it, ofthe lenth of one measure, because it is a repeated "motif". It must be legato and legato MUST NOT be cut between the measures. There are 3 types of lines drawn like this on top of notes : (in french)
- articulations
- phrasés
- motifs répétés
As example, you'd hear absolutely no any master cutting the legato between those motifs (not by leaziness, but because of rule)

Love your performances. Who crafted the keycheeks for you?

@mikedc2020 Mike, the top of my enclosure is bookmatched veneer, which testifies to the quality of the workmanship. To see it go to my website, which is listed above, and click on my Hauptwerk Virtual Pipe Organ link. At the top of that page, along with my tutorial, is a link to the pictures of my setup.

Whose rules are these? Obviously, there's no right or wrong answer - everybody's heard that before! Fantastic playing!

@Colin12120 Hi Colin, If you are interested, you might check out my Hauptwerk tutorial, "My Hauptwerk Experience, " on my website. It is on my Hauptwerk Virtual Pipe Organ page. It gives you step by step instructions on how to assemble one of these. And it will get a lot easier with Hauptwerk 4, which should be released some time in the near future.
