Watching this now after completing durgesh, the durgesh dlc, and valley of the yetis, my conclusion is that once escaping durgesh prison, pagan finds you while also realizing that yuma is betraying him, thus why in the durgesh dlc, pagan says he found you in the snow and had to give Ajay “tough love”. Once dreadfully completing escape from durgesh, the helicopter Ajay rode in out of durgesh crashed near the valley of the yetis and thus being the beginning of the yeti dlc. The only hole in my plot is the ending of the valley of the yeti dlc. But maybe we could just chalk it up to Ajay hallucinating and actually being found and returned by the golden path since they did know which peak to look at, AND Ajay practically killed all the yetis in the relic shrine. It also makes sense when after the “dont look down” durgesh prison mission, amita says they found you, and “thank god you didn’t freeze to death”.
