You should name the Warden something like "Touching Docs Redstone" so if the thief is killed by it their crime is announced in the chat

As nice as a the Ghast head alarm is. It would have been really funny if there was a custom disc of Doc calling for the police that played over an extended radius.

Just, "HELP POLICE! THE BLOCK SNATCHER IS STEALING MY REDSTONE!"

The only hermit I know this devious with motivation to bother doc would be the other half of big salmon: Beef.

In Brazil we have a saying: "To poke the jaguar with a short stick". Which basically means to mess with someone who is minding their own business and receiving due retribution. Well, someone poked the GOAT with a very short stick and they are about to receive their dues.

The question of the Ore Snatcher is who knows enough redstone to take blocks out of it without fearing breaking everything, but doesn't respect redstone enough to not mess with another hermit's redstone. And is willing to poke the goat. And has been online recently. Every suspect I think up fails to fit at least one category.

I find it very interesting that all the alarm's Redstone converge into a single Deepslate Diamond Ore, making it the prime target for the Diamond Snatcher

don't forget that some hermits have a Dimond shucker box that they like to place before paying, it might trigger it unintentionally

Hey Doc! Some thoughts/ideas:
- When deploying the warden you could hit it with a splash potion of invisibility. With it both silenced and invisible, there's a chance it'll take out the thief before they even realize what's happening.
- Remember AggroNet from Decked Out 2? You could build something similar to help the warden find the thief more quickly.
- Before you open the shop you'll probably want to make sure it's safe to place and break shulkers on the shop floor.
- When the warden is out you should also close off the exit! You could even turn the exit into a trap.

And one hot take:
- Pleading guilty might a good strategic move. Pick your battles. Cleo will be satisfied and may even help you with catching the thief.

We have law (permit office),
law enforcement (POE POE),
and law regulation (courthouse)…

and now we just need punishment (prison).

You could build an epic, inescapable redstone obsidian prison with maximum security, from which no Hermit could possibly escape!
And sue the ore snatcher to throw him in there!
