That "Hay, what's happening" was so casual and amazing lol. I like that stuff

Imo the original track from 87' is some of James' best vocal works ever !!!

The funniest/saddest part about the solo is that it is included in the third disc of Hardwired.

Kirk went full Lil Wayne at the end of the solo.

Reminds me of watching them in the tuning room

I loved it, lol :) . its like the old classic you always want to be played, is actually getting played . Helpless was the old time favorite cover back in the days. Then again I'm 36 ;) . Yet, the fact they are all looking at eachother, what a smile/laugh =)

It looked like Rob went over to Kirk and asked him "How do you play this song?"

Rob did a good improvisation, haha. xD

Not Rob asking Kirk how to play this song as they’re playing it. Then James gives him a “good job!” fist bump afterwards

Dear James Hatfield: I’m a homeless house elf. Got me two part time gigs, but can’t make ends meet: sub as a bus driver and Subway sandwich slayer. Got these gigs as a direct result of my honorable discharge. Had a not so honorable discharge from work last night. Such a disgrace! I was once an Admiral submariner. They had to let me go because I rigged the nuclear warheads with an audio device that blared out the Barney tune. I was incensed. I reasoned that it only played when launched. It took a number of backroom deals and an act of congress to get an honorable discharge. Sad fact of the matter is that Justice For All entails some medieval nightmare scenario wherein we must settle for arranged marriages: Thou shalt do no hookups. (Unless it’s cable, dish, or internet). Gotta take Nobody’s hand and we’ll make it I swear for right now, but if we’re only halfway there then I’ll certainly be popping certs to find fresh meat and follow the God who failed by settling for a dishonorable discharge from Subway. Fresh meat’s vital there, am I not right? I’ll make ends meet by saying that the dishonorable discharge from Subway is the direct result of crashing my bus through the wall of said other gig dressed up as the Kool Aid guy and screaming, “Oh Yeah!” My mansger, Street Walkin Barbie, frowned on that. Thus ends the story of last night’s dishonorable discharge with the caveat it’s gonna take another fucking act of congress to get an honorable discharge from Subway. P.S. If shit don’t work out, would you be interested in subletting your garage? Figured this forum’s album was an appropriate setting to ask. Sincerely, Dolby the homeless house elf.😂😂😂

Cool seeing them play this small venue...but the performance seems a bit 'phoned in'...

Why Kirk insisist on playing that one part of the solo completely wrong live (and I don't event mean his technical mistakes, I'm talking about playing out of key). I've never seen a live video of him getting it right. Beats me.

Why play the song if you don't want to play the full song?

It's me or Rob was lost in almost all the song? It looks like he didn't know that they were planning to jam this song haha!
