Stephen asks Chloë Grace Moretz why so many young women don't want to call themselves feminists.

Watch The Late Show with Stephen Colbert weeknights at 11:35 PM ET/10:35 PM CT. Only on CBS.

---
Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

voting for Hillary just because she's a woman is like eating crap because it was food.

"The word has become really pollarizing and I don't know why"

Read Buzzfeed for like 5 minutes and you will know why.

Stop this "either you're a feminist or something's wrong with you" narrative please, it hurts my brain.

You don't know why "feminism" is a polarizing word? Really?? Wow, she is REALLY a good actress

I knew the comments would be a lot of fun just by looking at the title.

To be fair, Stephen asked her about Hillary and then asked her about feminism. She didn't link the two.

Why Do you have to vote for Hillary if you call yourself feminist? Yeah she's a woman, but besides that she has never done anything to improve women's situation!!! But Bernie has!! Vote for Bernie🇺🇸2016

Really? You don't know why Feminism is such a polarizing term these days? You can't think of _any_ posible reason?

This comment section is poisonous. It's like keywords like feminism or Hillary Clinton incite internet rage. She was asked a couple questions and she responded openly. She knows where she stands and eloquently explained it all. I definitely don't like Hillary but there's no reason to rage about it, on the contrary, Chloë is a fantastic person.

If Chloe Grace Moretz wants to know why women don't want to be called feminists, she should read Tumblr.

It's also laughable how people consider a pornstar's opinion more relevant than the one of a scientist, doctor, etc.

So, she supports Hillary and still calls her self a feminist? This doesn't make sense.

Chloe moretz doesn't know what feminism has become.

Why do people praise pornstars more than doctors, firefighters, psychologists, etc.? What kind of fucked up world are we living in anyway.

Calm down folks. Feminism does not equal misandry.

Uhh yeah if you actually fight for gender equality calling yourself a feminist can mean something different.
