It was fascinating how you proved a well-defined self isn't correlated with giftedness at all. In fact, creativity is highly correlated with psychoticism (Eysenck). I like your concept about giving gifted people free rein to come up with creative ideas.

I was hyperlexic as a child learned to read by myself at the age of 2, when i was a bit older other grownups said that talking to me was like talking to a senior member of society in a 5 year olds body and all my life ive heard im "special", "smart" etc. And i never had problems in school until highschool i never had to study for top grades so i never learned how to study properly and after the first fails in highschool i put myself down and eventually i gave up. But yes i have a high level of curiosity i love to see how things work not just read about it but try it in real life and that curiosity led me to explore the world of medicine so i manipulated doctors to prescribe things so i could try them and after i had eaten most of the medications used within psychiatry i turned to the street drugs just to feel how they felt etc. 😅 and as you said I have an internal conflict and the self love is low especially now after mental abuse.
