Wayne Goss Home Tour!!!!

Welcome to my home. I have thought about doing a house tour before but never quite got around to it. I hope people see this home as much more ‘realistic’ than most on YouTube. Its a two bedroom house. While I’m not sure of the square footage - its not big at all. Quite the opposite. It was a one bedroom house for 20 years before an extension was built to make it a two bedroom home. Bought for £15,000 plus a bridging loan. It was pretty inexpensive when you look at other properties. I live in a very quiet part of the country. A little cul-de-sac. I'm also very lucky to have really lovely neighbours. It took a very long time to finally save the money to be able to add a second room, plus re-do the house. When I say it took 20 years I really mean that. Pretty much everything you saw in the before pictures were donated. Donated sofas, kitchen cabinets, etc… I think YouTube gives the impression that you have to have BIG BIG BIG, Huge homes, massive closets, shoes shoes shoes, and miles of expired makeup room tours!
It’s been a long long time coming and though it’s no 'James Charles home tour’ it’s home to me. In all honesty, it's big enough for two people plus a cat. I hope you like it. Love, Wayne.

Wow, it's beautiful. As well as being beautifully designed, it's got enough individuality in it that it feels like a home not a bland, empty show home, I would move there in a heartbeat. PS Does anybody else want to be Wayne's friend and stay in that little mezzanine room up the wonky staircase?

I love how Wayne's home is not following any trends, but it's perfectly tailored to what they need out of it. It's also great to get the timescale of how many years it took to get there. There is so much pressure in media to make one's home immediately and entirely perfect (one week home makeover shows?!) and of course that is unattainably expensive for most people.
