Why don't we celebrate Ayurvedam for its rich heritage? If we can celebrate Asclepius, then why not Dhanvantari in the scientific & medical communities of India, irrespective of the stream of medicine?

People generally don't know that dhanteras is all about health related rituals not just buying gold or electronics devices 🙏

Your ques is exactly right even I had these things in my mind why we celebrate or feel proud of our ayurveda just for its historical importance and not clinical importance...Doctors always deserve respect but when it comes to ayurvedic doctor or vaidya, why they are not recognised despite their hardwork and successful cases? Aren't these double standards?

Forgetting and making people forget their rich heritage and culture is just the beginning of another wave of subjugation and making them look out to seek validation. This is the effective self effacing strategy that has been used in Bharat for centuries.
Dhanwantari diwas ki hardik shubhkamnaye. Happy Dhanteras to all of you. May we correct the wrongs and walk the path of Dharma.

I really loved such a scientific, logical and unbiased mindset of yours. Even when you're working to bring awareness about the vedic civilisation among today's generation you don't even criticise and disrespect the western world unnecessarily. Such a high level of intellect and tolerance, u truly seem to be on the path of Bhagwad Gita. I really want to have people in my life with such good mindset and intellect. I hope you keep on bringing such betterment in today's world by any means in future also 🙏🏻🥰

Yes. The world should be told of our ancient knowledge. We were a great civilization and had been suppressed for many years by radicals. It is time to come forward and also bring forward, uncover the great works our ancestors did for the welfare of people.
Great work. Keep it up. 👏👏

I am from Croatia (the part of exYugislavia) and in 1990. I have founded Yugoslav Foundation for Maharishi Ayurved.
It is the greatest medical knowledge ever given to the Mankind. Keep your Vedic knowledge alive in all means, like ayurveda, sthapatyaveda, jyotish etc. The best is Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's renewed (purified) all 40 branches of Vedic knowledge.
Indians should use this very much.

As a white western european person I definitely agree you should celebrate and uphold your own heritage alongside ... only focussing on western culture here is a historical error and a sad byproduct of western colonialism and imperialism and needs to be overcomed, and I know more and more ppl in the western world themselves would agree with this too ...

Perfectly agree with your thought! We are made to believe adopt the cultures that are not more than 2000 years old. This is making Indias forget their past
