I actually love this theory a lot. A few things, however: Snowkit didn't do anything bad to deserve to live in the Dark Forest. Also, Snowtuft isn't deaf. He claims he lived and died so long ago he can't even remember what he did wrong, and the Snowkit incident wasn't actually that long ago from when Bristlefrost and her friends entered the Dark Forest. This would be awesome if it was actually true though, and I'm totally going to do some research on this one!

its honestly sad how this theory isnt canon because it would make a really interesting plot twist if it did, the idea of an innocent little deaf kit becoming a dark forest cat sounds awesome even if i barely know anything about snowtuft

For my theory version of this, he was a kit in StarClan and was going to stay a kit in StarClan. Then he got lured into the Dark Forest by Tigerstar when he died and was forced into Snowtuft's body, then was manipulated and told that he died a long, long time ago and everything he remembered was all a dream. That he had memory loss. And remember, StarClan heals anything, so he wouldn't have still been deaf.

After Snowkit is sent to Starclan, he's lured into the Dark Forest, which is where he becomes Snowtuft
(And star clan healed his deafness)

It would make sense, since Snowtuft has large scars that look like they came from a bird in the fan art. Snowkit died, but he could have been cured in StarClan and heard everything that clan said about him needing to die anyway, and became evil because of it. He was probably sent to the dark forest because he probably attacked one of the clan mates that said that. He’s been in the dark forest for so long he doesn’t even remember how he got there and what his past life was (especially cause he was just a tiny kit)

I love this! Snowkit gets scratched by the eagle/hawk I can’t remember, earning him the face scar which he wants to keep in StarClan because he thinks it’s cool, but his deafness is healed. He is lured into the DF by possibly Mapleshade and tricked into memory loss and there!

Ok so I found another theory:



"Snowkit is deaf, Snowtuft isn't." - There are four options here: 1) Snowkit was spent to Starclan first, which is where his deafness was healed. Then a hearing Snowkit went to the Dark Forest, where he becomes Snowtuft.

Snowtuft was from sc and I’m pretty sure that’s all he remembers and also cats dont grow in death so snow’kit would just stay a kit forever

I rlly love this theory!
I think that when Snowkit died, he was sent to StarClan, but was only there briefly before someone (I always thought Mapleshade) lured him in and basically rearranged him. He couldn’t remember anything from being a kit, because he grew up in the DF.

So, the theory is that Snow’kit went to starclan where they healed his deafness. Later on though, he was lured into dark forest where they trapped him so long until he believed that he has always been there. In dark forest then they changed his name to Snow’tuft. In the books it says that he can’t remember what he did wrong and how long he had been there. This theory could be why.

I love this and I know Snow’Tuft isn’t deaf but u know how Jay’Feather walks in starclan with yellow’fang so often he ain’t blind then so maybe same thing in the dark forest with snow’tuft
I do know Snow’Kit did nothing bad but u never know

Like Lavendermoon said, he did not do anything bad to deserve the dark forest, although according to Google after he died he apparently went to the dark forest and became Snowtuft. None of it makes sense 😭
