What's the point in collections like this if they just lay there and rot. I'm a car guy and would never do this

Need to save this history.

Time is of the essence.

Cheers

Before you mentioned it, I guessed that a lot of those under cover cars had ben saved from the hands of uncaring owners in the distant past . There was a time when they were unfashionable and only us MOPAR lovers appreciated them so the prices were affordable.

Hoard is right. 30 years from now they'll be a little more weathered. But still holding up better then the route 11 cuda in Pennsylvania that's been a landmarker on 2 major highways for 40+ years

Would you ask your friend Mike if he would consider selling one of his 1970 barracudas? Preferably the one at the 2:10 mark? Nothing special about it just that it is a vinyl top car which is a preference for me.

Is this in Cleveland County, between Polkville and Casar? I used to live near there and drove by a Mopar graveyard that had them parked in rows very similar to this (if not the same one) and caught me by surprise to see so many. Not an area I traveled often in the dozen years I lived nearby off 226/Bostic-Sunshine Highway, so unsure of what road I was on other than the general vicinity. One of those things you never forget when you're a Mopar muscle car fan out on a Sunday drive enjoying the backroad scenery.

Does he understand not just the amount of money he is on but also what cars he is letting waste and rot some of the greatest mopars in history ?

And years from now on the guy passes away they'll have a huge estate sale and sell them all off

It is their property and they can do with it as they please. But it is kind of sad that there are so many guys looking for a project and yet so many are just collecting dust/slowly rusting away not being for sale, we all know the majority of these will not get back on the road, not with the current owners anyway. It is especially sad when you realise that the end of gas powered cars and with that a large part of the muscle car hobby may come to an end in the not so distant future. I was lucky enough to be able to buy a driving mopar back in 2007 and still enjoy it to this day, I wish the same to others!

These cars were bought for a few hundred dollars each, back in the days when hoarders like this had dreams of restoring them, but time and lack of motivation had prevented that from happening

Hopefully someone will flash a chunk of cash and buy them all with the intent to restore them before they rust to the ground, .

A very depressing situation *

What a shame all of those cool cars just rotting away

People like this aren’t “car guys.” They are plain old hoarders. What a waste.

Yeah I’ll take the 70 Cuda or any of the 72s. Serious buyer. If there’s a 73 there I’ll take that too I only want one so I’m not trying to buy the guy out but I will restore it and make him proud
