Good catch bro! Like you, Im starting to see defects more and more in brand new engines lately. Not every time but enough to say quality control is really lacking across alot of manufacturers. Hope your replacement is top notch👍🏾👍🏾

Ah dang, that's unfortunate. This is why I disassemble and inspect each part of my new engines.

It happened to me once with a brand new OS 21 VG. The connecting rod was cracked, if i started that thing it would destroy everything else. This pre run inspection is crucial!

It does not matter how good your factory is you will produce a product with a fault I have had so with Novarossi I have seen swarf in the packet of a new OS engine.

That sucks… PICCO are usually really good quality engines. Pretty sure if you wouldn’t have noticed it that crack it would have gotten a lot worse and would have been almost impossible to tune. Good catch !!!

Could you please make a video of swaping parts beween hpi t3.0, g3.0 and LRP .18 pro spec 2, would be interesting to see what is compatible and not, and useful for hpi rs4 3evo+ owners cause there is basically only one engine for hpi rs4 3evo+ the t3.0 and its crappy.
