Hi, my name is Ben Whitehead and I'm a junior at Trinity University. First of all, let me congratulate you on almost finishing high school. It is a huge achievement. If you are like me, you're asking friends, family, teachers, or searching Google for the perfect fit. So I would like to share with you what Trinity University has to offer and what our campus life is about.

As you know, we're a liberal arts college and that means we have a flexible curriculum. You can come in knowing exactly what you want to study and begin exploring new interests or, if you're like me, and have no idea what you want to do with your life but you can narrow it down by taking many different types of courses. I took classes in economics, Spanish, neuroscience, and political science and slowly realized I loved economics. Even though I'm now an economics major, I still get to focus on my other interests, like jazz band.

Once you discover your passion, you get to declare your major and spend time getting to know your professors. You get to know them not only as faculty, but as mentors who take the time to know you individually. You begin to recognize their quirks and even spend time getting to know them outside of the classroom.

Not only do you get to know your professors, you have the opportunity to work alongside them in our state-of-the-art labs, studios, and other facilities. We're currently completing construction of our new Center for the Sciences and Innovation (CSI) bringing together the best together to explore the sciences.
