Thanks for review of been carrying GORUCK Rucker at GORUCK events since 2018 and was looking for something similar but for hiking in winter and fall here is Western WA. Thanks again for video.

lol nice video. Would've like this to be in landscape orientation though since I'm not watching on my phone but I still enjoyed.

Great video, thanks. Been toying with this or the Umlindi. Also, fun cameo with the kids. I have two girls myself, a 6 and 3 year old. Those girls adore you. Keep up the good work with them, sir.

I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this pack after 2 years. I’m considering one in lieu of a GR1 for rucking because I prefer the HPG harness system to anything else I’ve used. It doesn’t seem like it would be difficult to rig up a weight pocket for the inside and it has all the versatility you talked about here.

"I am 6'2", 180ish pounds of pure muscle... Any opportunity to feel like a man I'm gonna go ahead and do because... I have security issues.... That's my daughter, Olive..." At first I was thinking the "pure muscle" thing had a bit of a vibe (and I actually don't know if it was serious or not, still - not to say you're not fit), but I think I got your sense of humor by the end. Good review!

Nice review! I wish I were all muscle....For female, 5'6, " 130 1bs, 17" torso, doing daylong urban hikes through forests who needs comfort/functionality, would you rec this pack? Trying to decide between a Hill People pack and mass-market Osprey/Mystery Ranch. Will carry 30L tops. It looks long for me. I wear a GR1 21L (18" long which as long as I can go)....no animals will be maimed during my treks, no axes carried, no camping. Kids are adorable.

In terms of comfort, how does it compare with the gr1 for long distance with weight?
