I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this pack after 2 years. I’m considering one in lieu of a GR1 for rucking because I prefer the HPG harness system to anything else I’ve used. It doesn’t seem like it would be difficult to rig up a weight pocket for the inside and it has all the versatility you talked about here.

At first I was thinking the "pure muscle" thing had a bit of a vibe (and I actually don't know if it was serious or not, still - not to say you're not fit), but I think I got your sense of humor by the end. Nice review! I wish I were all muscle....For female, 5'6, " 130 1bs, 17" torso, doing daylong urban hikes through forests who needs comfort/functionality, would you rec this pack? Trying to decide between a Hill People pack and mass-market Osprey/Mystery Ranch. Will carry 30L tops. It looks long for me. I wear a GR1 21L (18" long which as long as I can go)....no animals will be maimed during my treks, no axes carried, no camping. Kids are adorable.
