As an outsider from England - that Celtic team in the first half were like a team possessed. Very very few teams in Europe would have coped with that. Couldn’t believe the quality I saw. On the flip side rangers were disgustingly bad.

This has been on the cards since Celtic thumped Dundee & St. Mirren early this season. Rangers fans did not believe what we have been saying about Angeball since then. Now they believe after witnessing firsthand the relentlessness of Angeball. Rangers have a mountain to climb trying to overtake Celtic. Larger than the Celtic build and they have to do it while in debt.

I said before the match that I was concerned because celtic have players in midfield who can score goals from outside the box whereas rangers don't or seldomly do. Kamara can't shoot to save his life and panics whenever it opens up for him to actually have a shoot so he always passes it on. Barasic is exactly the same & in todays football fullbacks are expected to chip in with goals but I honestly cant recall him ever scoring a goal from open play or even having many shots. And low and behold after 5 mins celtic score from outside the box! The reason kamara didn't close him down was because he doesn't think he will shoot because he wouldn't of it was at the opposite end. Now I get that some players strengths are in other areas but I don't think its too much to expect that a professional footballer should gets paid more in a week than most of us get in a year should be able to shoot a ball towards a damn net! Also when celtic are in possession it's quick and 3 or 4 passes and there's a potential chance, it goes from one end did to the other but rangers it's slow & plodding. Rangers had like 70 percent possession jn the 2nd half but it was all pointless passing around. Goldson and defence passing it back n forth to each other. Perhaps when Ramsey & others who were missing come in the ball might get from A to B quicker but unless there's a massive improvement in these areas then the 1 point will turn into 10 soon. It was a fantastic performance from Celtic but the home team is always expected to win the Old Firm.

Celtic need to win in the same fashion at Ibrox to really show some dominance.

We play as a team, well organised and know our tactics to a man. Every player Big Ange has bought looks like they've been playing together for years. I completely understand the euphoria around Reo, Jota and our other fantastic Japanese players but Matt O'Riley has been a standout as well imho. We are about a year and a half in front of where I thought we would be and that is down to one thing, Big Ange. It was the lockdowns and no fans at games that threw Celtic off its momentum for 2yrs. Coupled with Neil Lennons terrible management and our old player hang ons.

Now that we have fresh players in the team, new management and the fans are back to create Celtics legendary atmosphere we will see Celtic back on top were we belong as Scotland's true champions.
