it's my bae's birthday!!!!
of course i had to make a video in honor of this glorious day.
happy birthday to the most amazing, talented, gorgeous, caring and inspirational human being i know. if she somehow gets to watch this i just want her to know how much she means to me and how much she's changed me. before i started watching private practice, i didn't really know anything about rape victims. afterall i was just a 13 year old girl in a small german village. then i watched 4x07 of private practice, which was terrifying and life changing at the same time. after that episode i started watching all of the interviews about rainn, and just in general tbh, that she has made, became a rainn supporter and still speak about the issue of rape in school to inform and educate others. then i joined twitter roughly half a year after starting to watch pp. i joined 2 years and 1 day ago on the 13th december only to wish KaDee a happy birthday. i had no idea how much of an impact that decision was going to have on my life. one birthday wish turned into 38k tweets, a lot of really amazing and supportive friends, me finding the courage to come out, me starting to make videos and so much more. my whole life has changed because of twitter, the internet and most importantly KaDee. she has also shown me that you can make your dreams come true and do whatever you want, even if you are from a very small village like she and i both are. so if you've sticked with me until now you should know why KaDee means so much to me. her work for rainn and on the rape storyline on pp has also helped A LOT of people and i am so so proud to call KaDee my idol.
