Instead these tutorials will focus on the 737NG as an aircraft and the particularities of how to operate it.

Absolute love your detailed tutorials. PDMG's 737 is truly a nice addon, and without these video's I'd still be flying it VFR by hand ✈😅

Looking forward to adding the 737 in A Pilots Life. Still building up funds to get the license. So flying the a320 a lot right now. Just completed my 28th flight today. Another 25 or so and I should have enough to buy the 737 family and pickup some flights. Great add on software though.

Great job you’re doing. 👍
For me, in reality, in the case of an engine failure in a twin, I would not choose an airport significantly further away because ‘my company has facilities available to do the maintenance’. If a nearer airport is likely to have equivalent facilities to fix it, then I would have landed there. If my decision resulted in tea and biscuits meeting with the Chief Pilot ( without tea or biscuits🥴) then so be it.
I’m long since retired, and sometimes behave very very recklessly in MSFS! 🤣

Very interesting video! Thanks for sharing the information. I have a question for a particular case, lets say you have a medical emergency requiring a diversion, but it would result in an overweight landing, would one land overweight, or hold to burn off fuel? Is this company specific, or up to the captain to choose?

But what's the alternate FMC page for then?

Hi Immanuel, great video as always. Yesterday I had a near disaster with a flight diversion. I flew a route from Sydney to Auckland in the BBJ1. I should have checked the weather more closely as when I arrived in Auckland there was a 50kt crosswind and practically zero visibility! I decided to divert whilst at 1500ft on approach, so climbed out and tried to set my alternate which was Christchurch. I had the reserve fuel on board as per sim-brief, but when I entered the new destination the FMC told me “insufficient fuel”. I selected Wellington as a closer alternative and got the same message. I knew this was false and proceeded there and landed with plenty remaining. The FMC kept telling me my eta was an hour later than when I would actually get there and predicted zero fuel. Any ideas what I did wrong? The route worked no problem and I landed safely. Interestingly I couldn’t get rid of Auckland as the first waypoint, but the active waypoint was Wellington.

"Diversion" in Spanish literally means "fun"

Has anything changed with your sound setup? It sounds.... squeaky, high-pitched....
