In this video, I work with a large wooden cable spool and turn it into an industrial farmhouse style table! I also redo some old spice bottles that I found in a thrift store.

I can't be the only viewer/admirer that has recognized the way Mary says the word "beautiful" - the way I hear you say it is "beauty-full" and I admire that!

My dad ‘s been gone for a number of years now but he used to wear old Spice when I was growing up! Anyway I was just wishing that I could smell what you were pouring out! I miss my dad and am so glad thankful for my Lord and Heavenly Father, love your work thank you for sharing!

My dad used to wear the old spice from the old bottle. I always loved the smell of it. My husband brings me the smaller spools home from his job and so far I've made a nautical event holder out of one with rope zig zagged across it and clothes pen to hold reminders, notes or photos. With some of the others i just made one word signs. I love all of your imaginative ideas. You know your trash to treasures are my favorites!

Every time I see a cable spool I am brought back to being a kid. We would stand on the middle and balance walk to roll it. We were "circus performers". We needed a spool and a cut off broomstick and rope (a trapeze of course), we had an entire circus! I remember just leaving in the morning on my bike and coming home at dinnertime. Anything we could find to play with was fair game. Sometimes I really miss being a kid.

Beautiful! My husband is an electrician, we have turned spools into so many things- my favorite was a very tall spool (counter height) : we painted it, topped it with an old (round) picnic table top and put a large table umbrella in it. It’s the perfect buffet for picnics. We painted a smaller one to match to put our large drink coolers on.
