My most recent read was "The Other Bennet Sister" by Janice Hadlow and I adored it. It tells the Story of Mary Bennet, the middle of the five Bennet sisters. I has many references to "Pride and Prejudice" and Jane Austen's other novels. Definitely a book for all Jane Austen fans out there!

I am a classically trained musician and am really looking forward to our Mozart discussion. I did a senior thesis research paper on Mozart and the ways his childhood influenced his early music years ago in college and have always loved his work. The Cassatt artwork is new to me so that will be an enjoyable pursuit as well. I think for my item I will be using one of my English china teapots. 💗 ~Krislynner

Looking forward to learning in this month's chic assignment! I went to our local forest and picked elderberry flowers with my son to make a sweet elderberry flower - lemon syrup to use as a refreshing summer beverage for my family. The birds, the green trees and the cut logs ... it was good for the spirit to get away and enjoy the green and cool of the forest. Thank you once again for putting the assignments together for us. I really appreciate your efforts.

I appreciate this channel. It inspires me. I had a piano recital with my children last week and a tea party afterward. We dressed up and had finger sandwiches, tartes and tea and used the China. I also have cleaned out my closet and have worn a dress a few times. I am going to try to wear one a few times a week. And jewelry also. It is amazing how different I feel and like another commenter said I’ve noticed people treat you different. My kids were like you’re preety, why are you dressed up? It’s nice

Excited to feel the grass beneath my feet, I sat outside and read a few chapters of Frances Liardet’s We Must Be Brave. Our current situation pales to life in England during the bombings during WW2, but through it all, grass still smells sweet, flowers bloom, and insects thrive. Thank you for a breath of fresh air.

What no Mozart before?! lol I've had the privilege of singing several of Mozart's works, including his amazing Requiem. Two of my favorite Mozart works are eine kleine nachtmusik and 'Soave sia il vento' from Cosi Fan Tutte. Great assignments and have a great day.
