"Projekt Revolution" 2002 show was first published on Friday 9th October 2020 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of "Hybrid Theory".

*My December: Right before Hybrid Theory came out, the band wrote and recorded a new song specifically for Kevin & Bean's 2000 Christmas album The Real Slim Santa. "My December" was recorded at The Loft, in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 9, 2000 (a day before Linkin Park's show in the city). The majority of the song was written by Mike Shinoda inside Linkin Park's tour bus. It was written and recorded in only two days. The inspiration behind the song was "being on the road away from loved ones." During a MSN Live chat in 2001, Brad said: "I like the song "My December." It's about going home."

They wrote this song while at Graceland according to Chester. My brother and I watched them play this live at the Mid South Coliseum in Memphis with some friends. My brother passed in 2013 and I always remember that night and think of him when I hear the song.

"I'd give it all away to have someone to come home to." Sums up depression. Even if you're in a room full of people that adore you, you wont feel it. An empty void that cant be filled. No sense of belonging, nowhere feels like home.

Just my thoughts. Beautiful performance. Incredibly underrated singer.

This was great performance by the band. Chester was awesome... his vocals sound better live on this song than they do in the studio version. That can't be said for a lot singers. R.I.P Chester (and Chris)
