Somebody asked me recently why do you like Taylor Swift? And the more I think about it, she is literally all of us. I know that sounds corny, but it’s true. She just wanted to dream big and be something great not realizing how much inhumanity there could be in the industry and how much resilience you need, and not only did she take it on the chin, she showed how really talented she really is. The humanity in her is something to marvel at. most of her albums are probably on my top lists due to the fact that her vulnerability is so rare and also, the music is fucking amazing. I know parasocial relationship with celebrities are often toxic but I truely believe that Taylor's relationship with us is very genuine and different. Some people ask me why I could stan her for almost a decade now and I think the answer is simple. Taylor Swift is US. She is more than just a person for me. People are homeless.

i think you're always on your own when you're famous, even if you're surrounded by people. you got to live with the thought that the only person you can rely on is you. you're on your own, but you have so much space for yourself and your art.
yes, taylor has so many people around her but it seems like she puts up with the idea that everyone around her can betray her or even reduce her image in their life to a minimum. that's why she's on her own. and she can face this.
