This is an excellent example of the intelligent progression of training and proficiency verification and validation. I really wish we would have done this sooner, and we need to have it fully integrated in all 3 components. It is tough to get participation approved/funded in the reserve components. The USAR has many TDA units that do not have the equipment needed to train for some events. How do we overcome this? 1SG C.

Units should only allow the people who can pass the EPFA to take part in the practice lanes. This would GREATLY help soldiers (whom actually have a chance) get practice on lanes instead of waiting in lines ALL DAY!

SMA, being out on the lane training or preparing as a grader is the reason why I am extremely proficient with all my tasks. I believe we should be doing this training as team leaders year around and having a dedicated time where the XO, 1SG, and PSG cant touch me and the team for details is amazing 😂! Don’t let those LRTC trick you, we know how busy the day becomes with last minute details or meetings. It will be stepped on. The train up (on the lane) is a forcing function on the unit to focus on the critical tasks needed to survive. Keep us in the field not in the office ☺️. I Love the E3B outstanding idea . I don’t mean this to be disrespectful in any way, it’s just my 11 cents from the bottom looking up. Keep it up SMA we are all rooting for you!!

Wow.... A SSG interviewing the SMA and another CSM, and the SSG has a haircut that that isn't 1. Freshly cut, and 2. to standard + a mustache that isn't to standard either. How about getting someone more senior for the interview? For instance an Officer with a SSG for a counter part? Both with fresh grooming to Army standard...

That interview should have never started under those conditions.
