This offer was declined because his friend still had charges.
Now since they offered to drop the charges will go a long way in court.

Honestly, I get both sides of the spectrum. It would be awesome if everyone fought back, BUT not all of us have the resources you guy do. With you guys putting the spotlight on it however, kind of exposes the hidden agenda of the government, and will make people think twice about just laying down and taking it.

This is actually called unjust enrichment. This is absolutely illegal.
Its legal term to define the government (entity) taking money, and not using the money for what they have declared them needing it for.
They cannot legally take money, and not use it for intended purposes.
Mike knows the land owner, so itd be easy to know if the money was used for its intended purpose.
A good lawyer can easily win this case.
Also, it could easily be made into a class action against pa game commission (or whomever toom the money). Then they could be forced to not only pay back Mike, but also, pay thr many people before him that has paid these types of fines, with no actual work being done with the money.
Its absolute bullshit this happens.

When they postpone a court date I believe they do it for a few reasons.
1 just to drag it out and possibly cost you more money.
2 lack of evidence
3 they hope you will screw up and get arrested for something else before the court date then they will throw the book at you

As a Marine Corps Combat Vet it saddens me to see you guys go through this. America is supposed to be home of the free, instead I feel almost imprisoned with some of these laws. The silliest things could cost you your job, scholarship, finances and your livelihood in general. It's sad to see things like this in our country....

Cases like these need to go before a Jury.
If some agency tried this crap in the deep south-east, the person/persons would be haunted daily.
And YES there are hordes of people jealous of others, and when those jealous people get a little authority ->look-out.
These agencies have no right whatsoever to enter private property and do what they did.
I read about a cop driving by a mans house who was mowing his lawn and drinking a beer. Cop pulls in tried to give him a DUI, he had only drank half of a beer, cop gave him an open container ticket.
THIS CRAP HAS TO STOP, we're supposed to be a free country, people need to wake up and fight back before they completely enslave us
