Do We CHOOSE To Be Saved?

The doctrine of predestination teaches that God chooses some people unto salvation. Why wouldn't God allow people to choose or not choose him? Predestination argues left their own devices, people will never choose God according to their own desires, thus, God must intervene and elect people unto salvation. If predestination is true, how can Christians claim that God still loves all people?

Does God choose who gets to receive the gospel? Does he choose who chooses him?

I’ve been struggling with the predestination doctrine for quite some time and agree with most of what this video explains, however you glaze over one important issue and that is while yes it is our nature that we jump and drown ourselves, and yes we cannot do it on our own…but the problem comes in on where did that nature come from? Where was it created? Let’s use your child running into traffic example. When we make our children we have no real decision on their inherent qualities, but if I knew that my kid was going to be born inclined to continuously run in front of a car..essentially that was their nature…and I had the power to not create them this way…then why would I? Me as a parent, bare responsibility for my influences on my children do I not? Predestination imparts failed creation on God because we cannot go against our nature without him and our nature comes from him. I appreciate any clarification in regards to this. Thanks
