On the 1950 Census - can you explain what to find on the very first page for each ED. Has Census taker info and appears each sections are checked and someone signs off.

The lines that read "No one at home" are causing trouble for Ancestry's handwriting recognition software. I have been volunteering for Name Review on FS, and have flagged numerous transcription errors, where the Ancestry computer tried to assign a name like "Noone" or "A Home" to such lines. We humans are much better at dealing with those lines, as you described in your video !

1950 census been disappointing for me. Can't find anyone. I believe I found my grandfather who was listed living in Wyoming in a military base at 20. His race isn't even listed. His middle initial is the same so it's safe to say it's him. Do know he was in the Korean war. He's pretty much the only person I found in this 1950 census
