Honestly, this is just a fun build. It doesn't have the KPS of an aoe launcher, but it can outperform many more standard single-target rifle setups. Being a Soma, you also have the spray power of full auto if you really want to. But Semi-auto is all you need to quickly plink off the heads of each of your enemies. One shot is all you need. And even if you don't have all your buffs up, you can still actually kill enemies with raw damage on Steel Path, even though it is a Viral Slash build. Meaning Galvanized Scope and Primary Deadhead are actually viable. Even better, Deadhead plus Stabilizer completely removes all recoil and leaves you with a laser beam.

What a fitting way to bring about the return of the king. This is definitely not your usual Rifle build. Rather than go for grouping, or more damage buffs, I opted to offload Viral from the weapon to your frame instead of a Primer. Why? Because Hata-Satya doesn't let you holster, lest you lose the augment bonus on your Soma. To get around this, we use our frame to give us Viral. This also lets us slot all 3 Galvanized mods and make the most of our slots to force some juicy red crits. You can reach constant reds after just 1/4 of the magazine when shooting into crowds. Talk about aesthetics.

Nourish works somewhat similar to Shock Trooper, Smite Infusion, Freeze Force and Fireball Frenzy. This way we can subsume off Garuda's 2, which is hardly useful in this loadout, to make Viral on our Soma even though it was only built with Cold. Blood Forge lets us bypass the 3 second reload of this bullet hose. Blending Talons adds some much needed Quality of Life to her 4, and we speed this all up with Natural Talent. Also, you can even sneak in a Combat Discipline Arcane Avenger if you want!

Damn, this sure brings back memories of somas meta time :). Speaking of reloading, what does the game consider parazon killing as? a melee?Asking because of a very underrated mod aka Blood for Ammo, which does wonders on high reload time + large magazine capacity having weapons :P. Been using it with trumna and its such a big help.

If I remember correctly, you can fit blood for ammo in your parazon, so you can mercy kill without losing hata-satya stacks and gaining ammo

quick question, as a relativ new player, i would have big problems with the efficency, so u say that at 134 strength u deal 100% slash procs, but are 100% even really needed to deal heavy damage, prob not right? so lets say a umbral intensify could be enough for, idk maybe 70 to 80 percent slash procs right? and u would have 100 percent efficiency for the newer ones that still have energie issues

have you covered the sobek + saryn combo? acid shells explosion also triggers the toxin proc from saryn´s toxic lash, and enemies that die from that proc will also explode and proc more toxin
this means that you have a self propagating toxic proc that scales with enemy lvl. A self propagating damage that also increases the more enemies you have? this reminds me of something of saryn´s kit...
Also this combo works with detron + thermomagnetic shells or with jat kittag + vulcan blitz

There's also a parazon mod that reloads your weapons automatically on mercy kills but I suspect that wouldn't work either.
